Pick a mode on Home and start a session. Cues appear on the lens and in the IRIS tab of the session screen. Single-tap the ring to dismiss one.
Answers while the question hangsShe hears the question mark and puts the answer up before the pause gets awkward.
Automatic in any mode with Answers enabled. Works on questions asked by anyone in the room.
Live captionsThe words being spoken, on the lens with speaker labels. No cues, nothing saved. Free on every plan.
Settings, The lens and Home, Captions. Start them from the Captions tile on Home or on the lens hub. Offline: download the model, then choose Always use offline.
Who said whatA voiceprint from a short recording of you, so speakers hold up in a full room.
Settings, You, Voice ID, Record 90 seconds somewhere quiet. Add other people in 15 seconds each, with their permission. Later, open any session, Transcript, Tag speakers.
Steer her without stopping“Only flag numbers”, “we switched to Spanish”, “pause cues for ten minutes”, mid-session.
During a session, open the Ask tab and type or speak the instruction, or tap the Fewer cues, More cues and Pause chips. The per-mode default is under edit mode, How often IRIS speaks up.
Quick actionsYour own instructions on tappable chips: “Summarize so far”, “Answer that”, “Draft a reply”.
Settings, Modes, Quick actions, Add action. Describe it and IRIS writes the instruction. Tap its chip in the app, or scroll up on the ring to run it from the lens.
The ringTap, swipe and double-tap cover dismissing cues, browsing history, paging notes and switching modes.
Single tap dismisses a cue or selects. Scroll up opens the actions menu. Scroll down browses cue history. Double-tap exits. A triple double-tap ends the session.
Prep notes on the lensType or attach prep before a meeting, then glance at it mid-conversation.
Home, Add notes or files. During the session, scroll up, Prep notes. IRIS also uses your prep to sharpen cues.
Debate modeNames logical fallacies as they happen and fact-checks confident claims, on every side.
Pick the Debate mode before a session. Fallacies land as [LOG] cues the moment they are committed.
Pause now, finish laterPause a session, or have one cut off, and pick it back up with the transcript intact.
In a session, tap Pause next to End session. Home shows Paused or Interrupted; tap Resume, or tap the card on your lens.
Lens offTurn the display off and IRIS keeps listening from the phone mic; everything waits in the app.
In a session, tap Lens off for that session only. Or Settings, Listening and engine, Heads-up display off, to make it the default.
Live web search behind cuesProPrices, news, flight status: she searches mid-session and cites what she finds.

Settings, Connections, Agent bridge. The setup guide starts from nothing. Any mode can hand its cues to your agent, and it can write to your lens and ask your permission with a tap of the ring. Pro is not metered day to day: no cap on sessions, hours, questions or cues. The one limit is a monthly ceiling on what your use costs to run, at about one and a half times what you pay; if it is ever reached, the AI features pause until the 1st. Fair use.
Conversate is built into the Even app. IRIS is a different thing.
